We are seeking a skilled Windows Engineer with a strong interest in Azure to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Windows environments, with a keen interest in cloud technologies, particularly Azure. As a Windows Engineer, your role will involve working on a cloud migration project transitioning their on-premises infrastructure to a SaaS-based cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the migration of on-premises workloads to Azure, focusing on Windows (and Linux) environments.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement Azure-based solutions, including IaaS and PaaS services.
  • Develop and deploy automation scripts using Terraform.
  • Ensure the stability, security, and performance of the cloud infrastructure.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for cloud-based applications and services.
  • Document processes, configurations, and procedures related to the cloud migration.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Windows system administration.
  • Experience with Azure services and architecture (AZ-104 certification is a plus).
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, English.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle databases and related migration tasks.
  • Knowledge of network configurations and security best practices in a cloud environment.
  • Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
